The Blues announced today that they have traded LW/ Keith Tkachuk to the Atlanta Thrashers for a 1st and 3rd round pick in 2007, a 2nd round pick in 2008, and C/ Glen Metropolit.
Tkachuk spent six seasons in St. Louis, posting 143 goals and 145 assists. This season with the Blues he tallied 20 goals and 23 assists for 43 points. If the Thrashers re-sign Tkachuk after this season, then the Blues would receive another 1st round pick in 2008.
Metropolit has played 57 games for the Thrashers this season. scoring 12 goals and 16 assists for 28 points.
